Figure 4-4 shows the nominal dimensions of the EAN-13 Bar Code
symbol corresponding to the nominal size module width of 0.33mm.


EAN - 13 Bar Code symbol height

The height of the bars in the nominal size bar code symbol is 22.85mm.
This dimension is not modular, but is an essential function of the width in 
order to ensure omnidirectional scanning.

EAN - 13 light margin areas

Ensure an adequate light margin area surrounds the bar code symbol. The
light margin area is indicated by corner marks. See Figure 4-4.
